PUREFLOW® by Premium Guard has four filtration stages:

• 1st Stage: High-efficiency layer with a MERV 13 rating, capable of stopping more than 90% of contaminants at sizes as small as 3 microns. Pollen, dust, and other common allergies don’t stand a chance.
• 2nd & 3rd Stage: Activated charcoal adsorbs harmful gases like carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide. This layer is combined with baking soda to absorb bad odors.
• 4th Stage: Advanced antibacterial micro technology reduces biofouling by suppressing the growth of algae, mold, mildew, fungi, and bacteria on the filter.
